Queer, Neurodivergent, Disabled, BIPOC Mental Health Resources

You are BRAVE, STRONG, & WONDERFULLY UNIQUE

Before we hop into some of these incredible resources and hear the stories of some amazing, compassionate leaders, I wanted to make it clear that being LGBTQIA2S+, neurodivergent, disabled, or BIPOC is not shameful or something to be “prayed away.” While mental health, is one aspect of the disability community, it is also something that disproportionally affects all of these communities due to unnecessary discrimination, violence, and lack of acceptance that add to their traumatic experiences of navigating a world full of systems built to keep them out.

Here, you will find resources for anyone struggling with their mental health or trauma and educational material to help you become a better ally and continue to grow as an embodied social justice activist. While this is a community that welcomes all, this is primarily a space for my fellow queer, neurodivergent, disabled BIPOC folks who need a little virtual hug or reassurance that you’re not alone. I know it’s hard to navigate through all that this world throws our way, but I wanted you to know how proud I am of how brave, strong, and wonderfully unique you are. I’m so glad you’re here. xoxo, Keila
